Mr.K.M.J.F.R.Fernando

Chairman/Managing Director

Commenced the career in the year 1976 by joining a vessel in the capacity of an Apprentice Engineer and has obtained sailing qualification in 1979 and started functions as Marine Engineer in the year 1983. He joined Salamina/Prama Dry-Dock Ltd., in Greece as a Maintenance Supervisor. during this period with Panama Dry-Dock Ltd, he has involved with various activities including   areas such as gaining knowledge in repairs of ships. After acquiring thorough knowledge in all aspects in the shipping business, he formed a recruiting company on his own in Greece – namely; Thalina Shipping Enterprises and commenced recruitment of crew for foreign companies. In the year 1997, he registered his branch company in Sri Lanka as Thalina Shipping [Pvt.] Ltd., and engaged in various shipping activities. Later on the main operations were commenced from Sri Lanka [in Colombo], while the office in Greece, continued operate as Branch Office. He is responsible in the overall management of the company and implementation of decisions taken by the Board.

Mrs.P.J.M.Perera

Director / HR Manager

Mrs. Perera, who is responsible for overlooking company finance and day- to- day operations including bank activities for the last 05 years. Now she will manage the new business activities [Bunker Fuel Business]
